This is a genuine Hitachi sensor. There are many reman or offbrand sensors on the market that do not perform as well as stock and can cause tuning/fueling issues.
Over time the sensor can get dirty and read low. Often a lean condition or 171 code can result.
This works on 1999 and newer series 2 3800 only, does not fit 2004+ Grand Prix.
