The Story
This is an aftermarket, heavy duty clutch, specifically designed and manufactured by Clutch Masters to our recommended specs. This clutch isĀ capable of making over 400ft lbs and supporting no lift shifting at that power level, as has been demonstrated on our cars. It has an 8 puck ceramic disc and the pressure plate has a higher clamp-load, so the engagement is more aggressive than stock and the pedal will be noticeably firmer, but it isĀ still able to be driven daily without problems.Ā These things need notingĀ asĀ this clutch will not have that stock feel, but a stock clutch is not able to support a 400+ whp car.Ā
NOTE: This clutch kit will only work with the Clutch Masters Flywheel.
