ZZP Ecotec Rocker Guard

Our ZZPerformance rocker guard is an essential addition for your high horsepower Ecotec build. As you increase boost and RPM you increase backpressure in the turbine/exhaust manifold; this backpressure fights against the valve springs, valve, and subsequently the remainder of the valvetrain. Higher backpressure levels and increased peak RPM can lead to the rockers "kicking" off of the lifter and valve tip. Without a rocker guard in place these kicked rockers can end up causing excessive wear or failure of other valvetrain components, potentially resulting in a need to rebuild the head.

The rocker guard installs onto the existing cam caps and fits under the stock valve cover with no modification needed. Recommended for the exhaust side of the head. 

Fits: 2004-2007 LSJ intake and exhaust. 2007-2010 LNF intake, does not fit exhaust. Should fit 2.2/2.4 but has not been tested as of this time.
