It's no secret that the stock cams are severely undersized when making anything more than stock power.
Even the Stage 1 cam package is a huge upgrade from stock. However, the stock turbo-fold and it's penny choke on the exhaust side will see no noticeable gains from these cams. The drive pressure required by any turboĀ using the stock turbo-foldĀ prevents the cams from truly showing their potential. A ZZP BWv3Ā orĀ Z04Ā turbo or larger is required to make use of the power band these cams will open up.
Stage 1 cam package includes 1 new ZZP camshaft for your intake side. You will then move your stock intake cam to the exhaust side.

Upgraded valve springs are required. CompatibleĀ with ourĀ ZZP 72# valve springs;Ā cannot guarantee coil bind clearance on other brands.Ā This will need to be checked by a qualified engine builder.
GM timing chain assembly kit is required for installation, along with the included custom clocking tool, 2 new cam phaser bolts, and a cam position sensor o-ring.
